About Us
We are a Non-Profit organization established in 2006. The Northeast Colts were founded by President Charles Neely, Vice President Wesley Vallejo and Brad Nelson in an effort to provide young children a place to learn the fundamentals of youth football.Our Mission is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere where children can learn fundamental life skills through the competition of football and cheerleading. We believe through the efforts of competition children learn to work hard, set and achieve goals, and learn valuable experiences in breaking through barriers and fighting through adversity.
We provide football and cheerleading programs for children through the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA). TYFA is a non-weight restricted competitive league that provides organized football and cheerleading competitions.
Our program is based on teaching fundamental tools to children in an effort to help develop the skills and attitudes to compete. We are focused on teaching children to work hard to play hard, set goals and achieve them, and the value of teamwork in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
Regular season football consists of games running from August to November with playoffs running into early December. Games are played on Saturdays in San Antonio and surrounding cities.

We provide six divisions for children to participate
- Mascot Cheer Only - Ages 3 & 4
- Flag Football/Cheer - Ages 5 & 6
- Midget Football/Cheer - Age 7
- Rookies Football/Cheer - Ages 8 & 9
- Juniors Football/Cheer - Ages 10 & 11
- Senior Football/Cheer - Ages 12 & 13
